The SEMG placement figures may be downloaded free of charge (requires a valid Email contact address) and provide a visual overview of common SEMG electrode placements. In addition to more common kinesiologic placements, additional placement sites are also provided for psychophysiologic studies. Any wide placement sites are considered "general" recording sites, and will record a great deal of muscle activity between the two recording electrodes and are thus, susceptible to a great deal of cross talk due to volume conduction.
