Surface EMG Systems

Electromyography (EMG) measures the muscle response or electrical activity by way of a nerve’s stimulation of the muscle. In particular, Surface EMG signals are recorded by non-invasive electrodes on the surface of the skin above the muscle to assess muscle function and understand how well the brain and musculoskeletal system are coordinated. Surface EMG is an important part of physiology and biomechanics research and has also been developed as a useful evaluation tool for rehabilitation, sports performance, and ergonomics. Determining the most appropriate system for your individual requirements can be challenging, so it is important to carefully consider your unique needs when choosing between the Core or Ultium EMG systems.

Products

Ultium EMG

Identify muscle recruitment patterns and imbalances.

Core EMG

Quickly perform EMG assessments with Core EMG’s Direct Connect Design.

Our Hardware Benefits

Synchronized & Integrated

Ultium EMG seamlessly integrates into Noraxon’s myoRESEARCH software offering an easy-to-use workflow, real-time synchronization, and customized reports for comprehensive, data-driven decision-making.

Lossless Data Capture

The on-board memory provides assurance to users that their recorded EMG data is reliably stored and preserved. This feature ensures lossless transmission, safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of the data, even in situations where wireless communication may experience temporary disruptions.

Easy EMG Biofeedback

Connect via Bluetooth to the user-friendly Biofeedback App to provide practitioners with wireless data transmission, real-time biofeedback, data analysis, reporting, and enhanced user engagement.
