You are eligible to upgrade to MR4 as long as you have an up-to-date software maintenance agreement with Noraxon. If you’re not sure about your status, contact us.

Our MR4 Getting Started Guide has all the information you’ll need, including Quick Start Guides to set up your hardware, tutorials for new software features, and documents to help you transfer data from MR3 to MR4.

Yes, 2D Markerless Motion Capture is included with myoVIDEO. No additional purchases are required as long as your software maintenance agreement is up to date.

Since MR3 data is not directly compatible with MR4 data, data transfer is necessary. Follow the guides below to initiate a data backup and transfer of your customizations.

First, follow the MR3 Data Backup and Management Guide to back up your data in MR3.

Then, follow the MR4 Upgrade Guide to transfer your data and custom configurations.

Yes, the 2D Markerless Motion Capture engine will work on pre-recorded video. Reference our Tips for Markerless Tracking for guidance on successful 2D Markerless Motion capture to ensure your pre-recorded videos match the requirements for accurate data.

For the Powers Running Assessment, the following angles are tracked:

Sagittal plane:

  • Trunk Lean
  • Pelvic Tilt
  • Hip Flexion
  • Knee Flexion
  • Ankle Dorsiflexion

Frontal/Dorsal plane:

  • Trunk Lean left/right
  • Pelvic Drop left/right
  • Hip Adduction left/right
  • Knee Varus left/right
  • Knee Valgus left/right
  • Foot Pronation left/right

For regular 2D analysis, these sagittal plane upper body angles can be tracked in addition to those listed above:

  • Cervical Flexion
  • Shoulder Flexion
  • Elbow Flexion
