Now that you’ve installed the MR4 software, follow the steps below to make a backup of your MR3 database in preparation for transferring data, and transferring your data from MR3 to MR4
Step 1: Make a backup of your MR3 database following the instructions in the MR3 Data Backup & Management Guide.
Note: Before proceeding with this step, you must have a backup copy of your MR3 database following the steps in the MR3 Data Backup & Management Guide.
Step 2: Transfer your data from MR3 to the new MR4 database architecture by following the steps in the MR4 Upgrade Guide.
Step 3: Learn how to use the new workflow as you import your MR3 configurations and convert them to Protocols.
